Useful Facts About Ingredients: Necessity Natural Organic Lip Balm ingredients include Jojoba Oil which has a natural Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of 4. It also includes Shea Butter, which has a natural SPF which is variable, but can be as high as 6. Shea Butter absorbs rapidly into the skin without leaving a greasy feeling.

Another ingredient used in our product, Rosehip Oil, has been found to contain Trans-Retinoic Acid (a derivative of Retinol – Vitamin A) and this substance has been shown to have positive effects on skin damaged by excessive amounts of sunlight.
